akustika - The focus here is on handcrafted instrument making
The akustika Nuremberg music fair will take place from 24 to 26 April 2026 in the NCC East of the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre and, for the first time, in Hall 7A. As a central platform for acoustic music, it presents a broad spectrum of instrument making and music-making.
String, plucked, brass and woodwind instruments as well as keyboard instruments will be on display; percussion and accordion are new additions to the programme. The range is complemented by accessories, materials, sheet music and a wide variety of services. Music schools, universities and associations will be available as contact points for musicians.
The event is aimed at music students, orchestra musicians, soloists and specialist dealers from Germany and abroad. Instruments can be tried out on site, with advice provided directly by the makers. This makes akustika Nuremberg the only platform in Germany to offer musicians such a wide range of products and services.
An extensive programme of free concerts on several stages, as well as workshops, seminars and composer portraits round off the akustika festival.
